Terms of Service
Last updated: [date]
These Terms govern your use of SniffPup ("SniffPup", "we", "us"), a service operated by [Company legal name], [address]. By using the service you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
SniffPup performs automated, passive checks of publicly accessible web resources and, for verified site owners on eligible plans, read-only checks of certain backend configurations. Results are informational.
2. Authorization
You may only submit sites that you own or are explicitly authorized to test. You are responsible for having that authorization. Deep checks require you to verify ownership. Your use must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.
3. No guarantee
No automated scan can find every vulnerability. A report with few or no findings does not mean your application is secure. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
4. Accounts
You sign in with a one-time email link. Keep access to your email secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions. Solo, Starter and Pro plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe, as chosen at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel or switch plans anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
One-time Full Fix Report. The Full Fix Report is a single payment (currently $19 plus any applicable tax) that unlocks every finding and fix prompt for one scanned app (one URL/origin), plus free re-scans of that same app for 30 days from purchase. It does not renew, does not create a subscription, and does not cover other apps. If you start a Starter subscription after buying a report, we may apply a one-time credit equal to the report price to your first Starter invoice; the credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
See our Refund Policy. We may change prices with at least [30] days' notice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Company legal name]'s total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including data breaches we did not cause.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction]. [Dispute resolution clause.]
